ok, so i searched around a lil bit and nothing popped out at me. when putting a plexi panel on a box how thick does it have to be? the panel is gonna be about 12" x 20". i'm running 2 10s in the box... nothing crazy. in fact most of u guys hate my subs, but they're what i have and i am saving up for something else. i was thinkin 1/2" would be ok, but i want to be sure. oh yea... they're audiobahn sound q's hooked up to a brutus 1600. thanks.

1/2 will be fine if you have it laying around.

With a panel that size I wouldnt use 1/2". If you could go with a smaller window you could probably get away with it. But IMO, it would be best to use 3/4".

just order a piece of 3/4"x12"x24" from eplastics and be done with it. Would **** to use the 1/2" and find out it flexes...

i looked around a lil bit and i found a place that'll cut a piece 12x24 for $65 + sh... i'm gonna try to find a place local though. people tend to go easier on price when your face to face.

local guy just gave me a price of $75... dang... stuff's expensive. luckily a friend works at kuken brothers so we're waitin for a couple damaged sheets of 3/4" mdf to come through...

that wouldn't vibrate? its only gonna be mounted on the edges.... wouldn't the center make noise?

last time they got a shipment they threw out 2 boards that would've built my box... they said if they get more in damaged he'll let me know and at most they'd be like $5... i'm in no serious rush to get this done... now that its actually nice out, i do wanna get movin, but i can't turn down something like that...
