i'd stick to fiberglass, wood. plexi for windows. plexi's more expensive and not are useful as wood, and fiberglass is flexible.

First off, plexi glass is a name brand of acrylic plastic .

Neither is better persay as both have their strengths and weaknesses . Cheaper depends on what your trying to build with it .
