i want to see around 2200 watts from each amp......(on a budget)

heres my setup

-----------------

4 hifonics brutus bxi2608d's

1 maxx link

stuff just sitting in my living room :-( i want to instqall it already!

Wow. Your going to need A LOT of 1/0 gauge cable, fuses, as for the alt it takes like a good 180a maybe more or less to run each amp at 2200 watts, and 4 of them is 8800 watts. You will need like an hc 2400 for each amp. The alt will need to be able to keep up with this so you need some power. It probably won't be cheap, depending on your budget.

ahw cmon lol

but thanx

so two 200 amp alts would cut it?

and 4 batts

im a daily beater.... im not going to ride around cranking at full tilt not with 4 18's just normal boom level and maybe a short full tilt crank in parking lots of clubs.....

Not even 3 if it's a daily run a single 250-275amp and more batteries. Cause if this is a daily driver you r goin to want to stay with a single alt. or your mpg and perormance of of your vehicle will **** d**k.

Depending on the vehicle, you will want to go with the largest HO alt you can. If it is a US V8, that will probably be a 300a. EA has a new line of 350a alts coming out as well.

As for the batteries, one HC2400 per amp. Also consider using one for under the hood replacement if you do not plan on isolating the rear batteries.

If the HO alt cannot keep up for your daily use, Kinetik makes a 80a power supply that will help keep the batteries charged. You hard wire it to the batteries and then simply plug it into the wall when you park it. It recharges the batteries while it is parked and also maintains them as well. It is safe to charge them everyday, but would likely only need to do it once a week or so.
