Oh heck no. Mike is one of the better people in mess of an industry. He has just been hurt badly by sever let downs from his build house in terms of production times and questionable use of monies.

I highly doubt this, have you had it metered? Something tells me you haven't.

I'd go with something custom made, it will suit your needs the best. Next best is an SSA product. either the Icon or Xcon.

how you figure something custom is going to be best.. it's not like it's custom designed for his app and even if it was they had at least 10 subs that do excellent in this application..

Sound splinter has had troubles in the past, but no where near as bad as tc sounds. Many of the older companies have had problems, it happens when your running a company so long.

??? Yes, my sub/box is audibly louder down low. I built the box to kill the lows (2.5 cubes @ 25 hz with ample port area). So, I'm looking for a higher Xmax sub that will thrive in such a box. I do like the way the Icon looks. I'm confident it will love the lows, but how's its highs around 80 hz?

I keep confusing Ascendant with Incriminator for some reason. Incriminator seems to obfuscate their T/S parameters, which would make it hard to model up a sub in my box.
