I ordered a Sundown Audio SA12 D2 and I have a RF 500w amp at 2 ohm. So I have a 2 ohm sub and a 2 ohm amp. Can I wore the 2 ohm sub to the 2 ohm amp? I know you can wire 2 ohm to 1 ohm or 4 ohm but I want to upgrade to 1 ohm amp in future for this sub but don't have the money right now. Thanks.

You'll have to wire the sub to 4 ohms and run it like that.

You can try to wire the sub down to 1ohms and hopefully with the help of some box rise your amp may see 2 ohms if not a little higher. Give it a try.
