Please Help!

its always worked before this in my old car

4 ohm. the same thing happens when only the power, ground, and remote are plugged in. would the remote have anything to do with it?

 
ya sounds like a short check all of your wires to make sure there is no bare wire touching somethin. and all the connections are tight at the battery,amp and the fuse holders(if u got any). HU may be a problem too tho
