i was playing my radio on my way home from work and the right side of my car stopped playing right front speaker and right back speaker the left side of the car still works when i got home i checked the connections on the back of my deck and they were good does anybody know what could cause this?

the speaker in my door on the right side fell off the mount so now it's laying in the door is it posible it could have shorted out but why would the back speaker on the right side not work?

It could have shorted out the whole right channel on your head unit.

Pull out your alpine and check the fuse on the back.

I'm sure that the alpine has built in protection for something like this happening.

If the fuse is not blown, then try, as suggested above, to switch the wires so that the left channel on the HU is running the right speakers. If they work, then the HU is broken.

Apline should have a warranty if this is the case, so you'd have to get on their website and request an RMA. They should fix it for free.

Good luck!
