Ok so I have already done my alt to battery and battery ground. I cannot find my motor ground ive searched online and everywhere in my car so. Can i make a new ground for my motor use a different bolt? I found a great easy clean spot thats perfect but the bolt is on the side of the motor which is aluminum im assuming i cant ground there? also i need help i really want to reground my transmission i also see a perfect spot to ground the tranny i want to make sure thats safe to do before i do it. id really appretiate some help if you have time thanks.

any place on the block or tranny is fine. closer to your battery ground/chassis ground is best - and away from heat. leave some flex. protect with high-temp split loom. there are usually unused threaded holes to use in the block or housing. i don't use bolts that are used for brackets.

I was told there is no need to do the tranny cause it is grounded through the motor. I'd rather still do the tranny if there is any possible benefit

Hes saying you can use either the engine block or the tranny, not that you have to use both.

thanks for the help saved me alota time and hassle appretiate it i also added 4 guage to my fusebox power and ground with all those new grounds and power wires it feels like a new powerful car i cant believe clean thicker wire can make that much of difference thats crazy.
