I have the following:

Eclipse EA3532 5/4 Channel Power Amplifier

with ChannelFlex Crossover plus Subsonic Filter

Kenwood KDCX697 HU

PHOENIX GOLD RSD5CS Components for the front

On the manual, it shows the amp is capable of running at 4Ω bridged 120 rms × 2 (Front/Rear). I'd like to run this exact setup for my front components. Is this doable? I am thinking I can run 120 rms to the left front component and the other 120 rms to the right front component. If this is possible, how would I wire the speakers wires to the amp?

Another question, would I need both pairs of RCA from the HU to the Front/Rear input to amp? or I can get away with just running a pair of RCA from the HU to the Front input of the amp?

Also, what setting on the amp should I set on the amp to make this possible?

Thank you

If you want to run 120rmsx2 on your components, then you won't have to use your rear inputs. You can just use one RCA from HU to amp if the components are all you're running... It goes from HU to amp to your passive crossovers for your components to each individual speaker.

Thank you for your help on the RCA input question. Much appreciated.

If you or anyone else have any suggestions for the other two questions, please feel free to drop some knowledge on my noob ***.

I generally thought it was best better to connect as many outputs from the HU as possible. I was reading the ARC PS8 manual and it said to connect all the outputs from the HU. I'm thinking this is because it will sum the signals and will provide higher overall input voltage. If the difference is between running a 2ch RCA vs 4ch RCA, run the 4. Should your setup change in the future, you already have the RCA run, you won't need to run an additional set later.

Is this a blue or blue/white wire from the Kenwood? The ACC wire is red and although that should turn on the amp, it is not the prefered wiring...

As for which signal to use, I tried all combinations and getting signal from the dash and front & rear doors is the only way the system sounded...
