Please help!!! Whats wrong with my install?

I am installing my new alpine pdx-f4 in my 2001 jeep grand cherokee. I have all the wiring set up and running to my speakers. I have one set of eclipse 6x9's and a set of alpine type r 5.25 components. When i turn on my head unit i get a loud thumping/pounding sound coming from the speaker(check vid). It only comes from the speaker hooked up to the first channel no matter which speaker it is. What did i do wrong?

Is it the ground, even though i have tried a couple different grounds?

What is yours thoughts.

Gain not set right

i have tried adjusting my gain. Started with it down, then changed it to about 3/4 and a couple stops inbetween.

Follow this guide, it works for any amp.. Bass boost off, bass on HU set to 0
