Please help, weird noise, weird problem

its really not that long... but please need some expert help

Ok installed my new setup, Viper 2500.1 and 3 12w6v2's. Each sub is Dual 4 and wired at an 8 ohm load, bringing the total load to 2.7ohms. At 2,7 each speaker is getting around 600wrms. Everything was fine it was working great and hitting wonderfully loud and clear. And then all of a sudden I hear a little pop or crackle. Turn it down and then slowly turn it back up. Noticably not as loud. Sounds fine and then I am listening to a heavy bass song and i hear it again. Check the subs, and I can hear it is coming from the middle sub. Turn it up and then it keeps making the noise when I turn it up loud.

I thought there was no way that I could have blown the sub after 10 minutes, I set the gains with a DVM and did not ahve the HU into clipping. So I take out the middle sub and put it in a different, w6v2 perfect conditon. Same result, from the same middle sub, even though the sub I put I KNOW is fine.

I look at the amp and one of the grounds fell out of the plug (the 2500.1 has 2 power and 2 grounds). I think ok this must be in and put it back in. Nothing changed. Except now, the subs will hit, the center one will make that noise, they will stop playing, and then play 100% a few seconds later and then cut out again. Meanwhile this whole time the amp does not go into protect etc.

I check all power and grounds, check speaker leads make sure they are not touching, check remote wire, RCAs are brand new, ground point is clean, etc. I cannot figure out what is going on, I look at both the subs making the noise and they do not seem blown at all, no smell no marks and I can push the cone in and out no problem.

Are the two subs blown? Why is it the middle sub makes the noise, i replace it with a new one, and then the new one makes the noise?? I checked the wires inside the box, fine. WHAT IS GOING ON?????????????/

hooked up DVM to the subs that I thought might have blown and each voice coil measure 3.3 ohms.

replace the sub wiring.. sounds like you have a short.
