please help really quick on box error

i had a big problem i bulilt this box and the front is 12 inches but the sub i got is a alpinr type r and it mounting daimieter fits but the screw holes wont they fall right over the hole so my question is can i put the sub in the top of the box will it make any difference if the sub and port are facing differnt directions sub facing up port firing backwards or vice versa plz any input would help box is 3/4 done

shouldnt have a problem as long as the rear of the port and the rear of the sub have clearance behind them.

you should be fine at 12" the screws should fit, the screw holes are at 11 5/8 so you will be fine.
