Long story short, my sub amp is haywire, i was bumbin on the way home from school and then i went to the store and when i started my car the bass was super weak, so when i got home i popped the trunk and got my dmm, and i put a 40hz test tone, volume 42/62 on HU and the reading was 7.2-8.0 odd, so i looked at the gain and its where its been set when i set it, so i turned it up and it spiked to 40+++++ theres a "gap" sorta say, my reading is suppose to be 32 flat... has anyone had this problem before??

also, once it goes up on the dmm i hook up a sub to see what is happening sound wise, and when it goes beyond 8v to the 40++ its just sustained... i play music music and it just plays one solid continuous note...

lol, not really. im not an amp repair guy. if you pull the cover off and look at the board you might find something wrong near the speaker terminals.
Matt
worth a shot, hope someone else on here can take a look at my problem, thanks for the input Matt
