please help me with this sub enclosure!

how do you Figure the desired NET volume, port area, and tuning for my sub is this a preferance thing? sombody please help me with this. i read the stickys and there not making any sence.

sub= pcw-12 soundstream. spec below.

The manual says the desired box is sealed at 1.25-3 cu ft. im looking to build a ported box.
