Please help me with speakers

Hi all - first post!

This is my first real attempt at an aftermarket stereo system. I used to have an avg. Alpine HU with 4 - 6.5 alpine sps speaker in my 99 Tacoma. Well I bought a new 07 Tacoma and the stereo isn't very good. Now i'm pretty sold on getting 2 quality front speakers and a small sub. Problem is nobody around here carries any quality speakers and i would have to drive at least 2.5 hrs to hear some speakers. So far this is my plan:

Audison 4.300 Lrx Amp (2x65W front, 220W Sub) - I may add an amp for sub only down the road

Eclipse cd 5000 HU

Image Dynamics ID 8" or 10" Sub

Speakers ?? (music mostly played would be rock, hard rock, some metal)

Focal 165K2P

Pioneer TS-C720 PRS

Morel Dotech Ovation

Hertz ??

DLS ??

Any help would greatly be appreciated,

Take a close look at the new '07 Alpine Type R comps and Type X comps. I haven't auditioned them myself, but that is certainly on my to-do list. Go with the ID10 sub. It will have a bit better low end extension than the 8 and would likely be a better choice for a larger SUV.

Def go for the 720prs. Insane set of comps for the price. Instead of a CD5000 go for the Pioneer 880prs. Its a nicer unit all around. Everything else looks like it should sound really nice given a proper install.
