Please help me With my PORT!

HI, I am making a box for my 18 Inch. W3 series subwoofer. I was wondering if there is anyway to substitute 2 ports for the Recommended (one) that JL Audio specifies on their website. If there is a way is there a special formula to TUNE them two together?
