Please help me out

Hi guys I am new to car audio and I'm kind of confused on what price I should pay someone for his system that I want to buy.

The system consists of:

2 Diamond D1 subwoofers (250 watt rms each)

Alpine V-Power MRP-M850 amplifier (500 watt rms)

The box for the subwoofers

These have been used for two years and I'm sure they've had quite a beating. Do any of you know what a reasonable price to pay for these is? He is asking for $275 which I feel is more. I have been told $200 sounds more reasonable.

an m 850 is more than 500rms. the subs arent great but the amp is good. i wouldnt pay 275 or even 200 for that matter. maybe just buy the amp if he will seperate.

I wouldn't give more than 250 for it all. But than again I wouldn't take them period to much bass for me.

prefab junk box worth about 20 bux, subs about 50 and amp about 100-140. so as a package should be some kind of break. 150-175 for the package. but i would honestly just try and get the amp or just sell the subs and box local or ebay etc.

hmm alrite sounds good...is the sub not good?...I'm limited to 300 dollars so i dunno what I can really get with that much money. And if I do just buy the amp, how much should i pay for it?

Take the amp for $100-125.
