please help me, im baffled!

i wired a new amp and sub, into a voltswagon. the problem is as soon as i hook the power to the battery i loose almost all radio reception. why is this happening and how do i make it stop????

does your power/ground wires for your amp cross your ant cable any where?

no the power goes strait from the battery to the amp. and the ground is in the trunk
