Please help me...fixed 1 prob, now theres another

ok i have a DUAL HU, a 2000w Pyramid amp, and (2) 12" Audiobahn subs. The inside speakers are stock and are being powered by the HU. The rca output plugs on my HU went out so i had to buy an adaptor for stock HUs and tap into the speaker outputs from the HU. It works but there is a problem, whenever I turn the volume up past 40, the subs go silent and the interior speakers just make a very very very high pitched squeal. Then if i turn it back to 40 or below it plays fine and the subs work fine. Oh yea, the volume goes up to 46...please help:crying:

probably clipping the signal turning the hu volume up that high. i dont think you should ever turn any hu up to 40 out of 46.

please dont ever turn a HU up that much % of max //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif hardly ever turn my 860 past 25/40, usually never over 20 at all

Does it hurt when you do that? Then don't do that.
