Please help me!

I'm doing the big 3 right now, and the last thing i need to do is to bolt the new alternator cable onto the alternator, but i can't get the bolt off of the alternator that's holding the original wire in place. There's no room on the bolt left to put a new bolt on in addition, and it's getting DARK!!!!

Ahhh! if i don't figure out how to get it off soon, i'm gonna be stuck at home tonight!!

Anyone know a trick?

Are they just on there really tight?

They're never reverse threaded, are they?

Man, everything else went smoothly, easier than i thought, and looks great to boot, but this...... Ahhhh!

Haha, i guess i should've seen a snag coming... Stupid overengineered car.

Not usually reverse thread. If it's never been removed, it could have thread lock on it during original assembly. Very common with japaneese cars.

Sorry, didn't see that the vehicle is an Audi. Germany does nothing different than the Japs in this case.

use a long ratchet with the appropiate size socket. or if you have an impact wrench use that if you can get it in that tight of a space.
