Okay so here's my problem, my subwoofer is not very loud at all.
My friend has the same sub I do. His is double as loud.
Both my sub and his were wired in my car to my amp so I know it can't be anything to do with my amp or wiring.
The only difference between the two is the box design. (Internal cuft is the same, I modified mine to be the sane internal cuft as his 0.75cuft: note enclosed boxes)
So what's wrong with my sub? Its moving the same amount as his but not as much sound.
Could clipping cause breakdown of the motor in the subwoofer? I may have been clipping with my old amp for a long while. Could that have caused the lower output? And is there anyway I can test if the sub is still in good shape?
