Please Help A Rookie Out-- Slap Needed

Hi,

I am going to say straight out that I know nothing about car audio at all. I have a 2001 Volvo v70 glt and want to get a system in it. I have about 1500-2500 dollars to spend and have no idea what to buy, (thought that the more watts the better but i am sure that is not the case). all i know is that i want 2 12's, amps, speakers aswell as a headunit, but, at this time subs are the most important to me, and i can postpone speakers for a bit. I want subs that slap extremely hard, but that don't sound bad doing it. Could you guys help a brother out? thanks in advance

2 type r 12", a Tcab enclosure, and 1500 watts rms will sustain u for a loooong time sub bass wise

get a nice deck, 2 12" type r's, make a box or have one made, a 1500 watt rms amp, do the big three electrical upgrade and get a new HO alt.

2 12" solobaric L7's , "slap" extremly hard and sound pretty good tuned @ 30 hz

How many watts do i need to each sub on the solobarics, because i was under the impression that the more watts, the harder the subs slap, such as the alpine Alpine SWX-1242D 12 in Subwoofer, but my question is, Will the L7's slap harder than the alpines? what amps do you guys suggest. thanks
