hey everybody im a noob to the caraudio world and this is my older bros system not mine. but does any body no how this might sound. 1 orion p12d4 (500watts rms 1000peak) and a audiobahn A8000t amp (400watts rms x 1@4ohm and 800rms x1 @2ohms?!?!?!? and should i put it in a 1.5cu. ft. ported enclosure i no the specs im just lazy. or a 0.7 cu. ft. rec. sealed enclosure

yes this is my older bros profile hes in college and i just bought the p12d4 and a audiobahn a8000t and im wondering how it will all sound do u no what i should mount the sub in a sealed enclosure or a ported enclosure thx man

i heard it in the a ported sounds loud but not the best sounding sub but for ur first setup up itll be good

i mean i plan on makin my box and i got the amp and the sub combo together for 300 so i mean do u think it will be a ns setup for a beginer and i got something kind of small cause i dont want to fill my trunk up and i didnt want to spend all that much thx though any more oppinions willl help ty

i think you should con your bro into giving you the jbl1200 and the XXX lol

for real though...that setup will be a great beginner setup, should sound great and get decently loud

yeah my older bro wanted his system to be real f#$%in loud and u no what. it was untill he bought a new car and still hasnt installed it in the new car but i would of got something like that its just i dont want to take up my whole trunk

ill probablly eventually get an h2 but untill then u think this willl sound good and get decently loud like maybe louder than 2 type R's that werent boxed or powered properly

i dono if it'll be louder than 2 type r's, i've only heard the orion in a sealed box in a shop...that thing impressed me a bit...i was expecting to hear just noise, but it accually had decent sound quality and got decently loud as well

but i mean its not goin to sound like s#$$ in the rec. p12d2 is it like (1.3 to 2.0 cu.ft) i no that the 2ft will be louder but it will also take up my whole trunk. but a ported enclosure will deff be louder than a closed one ???????
