i got it to turn on by rerunning wires myself but now the **** lights have to be on in my car or otherwise it doesnt turn on....???? whats this mean?

LAWL my brother did this in his jimmy he had to have his parking lights on for his cd player to come on i had to fix it for him his fuse for his radio could also be tied into his lights depending on the car ! maybe
