please answer my newbie questions

im not going to be buying an amp kit for my sub amp so i was wondering, when wiring my subs, i dont need a lot of speaker wire do i? maybe 5 feet at most? im wiring them parallel / parallel and the amp is going to be right there on the enclosure. thanks for your time.

 
At $.25 to$.50(depending on the ga.) a foot, get 20 ft or so to be sure you have enough. We're only talking a couple of dollars here.

 
depending on the car / truck, i allways get 20 to 25 feet. you never know when u might need extra. you could allways mess a section up, or have to run the wire where you were not expecting and use more than the 13 feet. thats just my 2 cents though.
