Ya looking at ebay prices i see them going for around 300+ even burned. So im definantly thinking its going to be worth it.

I wrote out a whole big thing...

But decided if you want the headache go for it. I guess if you want a heavily used and abused monitor that was mediocre at best when it was new knock yourself out.

You should have posted it, i made this thread to hear peoples serious opinions on it.

And even if i get a decent one that lasts a year, it will be better then the piece of sht i have now.

I guess I am not fully understanding what you mean by this.

If I see something that is 1/6 the market price, I buy it. The fact that its a less than par TV monitor has nothing to do with it, but if I can snag these and get a few for free and make a couple bucks, I'm willing to do it.

What exactly does standards have to do with it?
