Plasma TV question

Ok, so ive got the oppurtunity to purchase an assload of 42" Plasmas for a steal of a price. The problem is that some of them, and i have no idea how many of them have been "burned." My question is, can burned plasmas be fixed, or used for parts, and what exactly would they be worth in this condition? They are NEC models. Any input appreciated.

chances are these NEC's are Commercial series plasmas (the kind you see at stores in malls, storefront windows, etc). They're been taken from installs and have probably seen plenty of runtime, so chances are they won't last more than 2-3 years more.

They won't have burn in as long as video has been looped through them constantly, with no newstation watermarks or still images. Otherwise, a good number of them could have burn in.

Those aren't TV, they're monitors (no tuners built-in) ...

IMO, it's not worth it unless they're like $50/each ...

But yes, they are the commercial monitors.

whats it matter anyways?

its still only worth it if they are HD capable, and if they are HD capable, you are going to have a tuner box anyways to get HD service... its all the same really, tuner, no tuner... until these things have HD tuners built in, and all services can use the built in tuners, a TV without a tuner still has plenty of function in todays society IMHO.

lol. Supposedly only some are, but im betting most are. So thats why im trying to find out what they would be worth burned.
