I have a 1995 GMC Sonoma that I am going to put 2 little JL Audio W1v2 10" subs. The truck has an extended cab and that's where I would like to put the box. I am planning on taking out the jack which goes along the back. I would like it tuned somewhat high anywhere from 38-40hz. These subs are not made to handle super low bass. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Why would you think the subs won't perform on lower bass? Honestly though there is a few ways you van setup an enclosure to work in your application.

Those subs will play lower, all about the box man. You definitely don't want to tune that high, in my opinion.
I think the tuning would be subjective to the enclosure and application. You do not always have to "tune" low in order to have that kind performance from the setup.

Well you guys DEF know a lot more about this stuff than I personally do, so how do you think I should tune it? So do I basically just PM one of those names that were listed in the thread for plans? I noticed two of them were posted and I do not want to offend anyone by not going with a particular person so I am not sure which one to talk to LOL.

too bad you are closer to me , i have my old box from my 95 s10 ,i'd sell you .i know alot about these trucks as far as spl and what frequencies the trucks like to get loud .mine was the loudest 12 volt ,under the window line 2 battery set up in the us

mine was tuned to 58 for burps and 35 for daily, 6.75^3 with 4 6inch aeros for 2 12's.i did do a 149.9 on 2 10's in this box too.and was doing 148's daily on music.i still have the box just not the truck anymore
