Planning my mids and highs

Well heres what Im feeling right now for mids and highs. Im looking for CRAZY loud with decent sound.

I want to try for: 3 10s and 3 tweets per door, 3 10s, a tweeter, and a horn on each side of the glassed center console, and on each side of my wall 4 6s and a horn. All the speakers would be Eminence and all the horns/tweeters would be Selenium.

So in total:

12 10s

8 6s

8 tweeters

4 horns

I already have the 8 6s, and 2 Sundown 100.2s. I would just run all Sundown 2 and 4 channels, but they arent big enough for me to run things the way I need. I will use the 2 that I have already though, and just run 1 amp to all the 6s, and another amp to the horns.

The center console will be molded from the dash coming back between the seats, with the speakers firing out, towards the doors, maybe slanted up a little. Get my EQ molded into the console, along with some switches for lights and whatnot.

On the wall, I have 4 6s and 4 tweets as it is, but the pannels can be redone and on each side have 2 6s on the top, then a horn, then 2 more 6s on the bottom. Heres a crappy paint pic.

The other amps Im using are something to that will get the job done for cheap, as they will be hidden and never seen anyway.

Eventually Ill get some out back on the amprack too. Maybe something like 8 8s and 4 horns. Ill deal with that when I get there.

Anyway, thats my plans for now. Figured that since progress will start being made now that I have a job (maybe 2 jobs) I would sit down and figure this all out. Well Im ready to be flamed, so lets hear it.

If you go to a high end home stereo shop, how many drivers per channel do the towers have? For the sake of argument, lets say 4 is the max number of channels available: tweeter, midrange, midbass, and sub....and this is the epitome of accurate stereo music reproduction.

Do what you do G Monk. I have respect for anyone who drives a van with 20 something 15s in the back lol. Got to have something to keep up with all that back there correct?

Vids pls when its all complete //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I know what it will sound like. For my last couple setups Ive ran nothing but Eminence, and I love em. They sound great if you tune them in correctly and go easy with the tweeters.

Rap is really the only thing I listen to in my car anyway. I just cant force myself to have that much bass and listen to rock. Right now I cant really hear much but bass when I turn it up.

Will be fixed soon.

It should be 3 months or so before all the mids/highs are in, but in two weeks or so I should have my van running at 18v. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Unless you have a common car, like an Astro, you need to get them custom made. Thats what I gotta do.

You could always just run a single 16v and a stepdown module.

Those Sundowns dont make the power I need dropping down to 10.5v. When I charged them and they were sitting at 14.5 I almost shat myself. It made my system at the show sound like 2 12s.

18v is just going to be sick.
