I've been putting together a system thru the internet using Soundstream amp, Kicker Subs and Alpine speakers.

I talked to local installer today and he sold me on Planet Audio, Vortex line of equipment for everything, comparable to what I was looking at online in specs and prices.

If he does the install, which he will do with whatever equipment I purchase, I will get a 5 year warranty on all the PA equipment.

My question is what do you guys think about Planet Audio?

Thanks for your help... I think my daughter will love this Christmas present.

planet audio is pretty solid.

I have had one of their older amps for about 4 months now and have not had a single problem.

Planet Audio amps are decent. Nothing awe inspiring, but pretty good. I wouldn't use anything else that they make, though.

I have had experience with a planet audio amp, and it was pretty solid. After long periods of bumpage it still felt cold or barely luke warm.

Depending on what series you're running, they can occasionally get down to .3ohm burps, although it's not wise to do this.

I would have stuck with the kicker,alpine and soundstream equipment.

Planet Audio is ok stuff. I wouldnt ever be sold on it though. I know better.

Then again I run type r's.

i had a dvd player frm them in my truck i liked alot, and ive considered buying the tt-1250 amp
