Planet Audio AP1500D class D amp issue

Hello All! This is my first post so please accept my apologies if I'm posting in the incorrect portion of the forum. I have a Planet Audio AP1500D class D amp. The amp powers on with the vehicle but when it warms up after a few minutes of music the amp goes into protect mode. It turns back on again after awhile. What could be causing this issue? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

did you try it with the speakers un hooked?

What ohm load are you running?

Yeah I tried it with the subs unhooked and also I'm running it at 2 ohms. The amp worked fine for about 3 months on some W3's for about 3 months. I have been running a new amp on the W3's for about 6 months though now.

Maybe its worthy to note when i turn the input level and bass boost down the amp works barely but when I up those it doesn't. Also I dropped the amp into my friends setup and it does the same exact thing.

It could just be the amp..... I mean planet audio isn't known for quality....

Ah yeah I'm kinda new to car audio. Would you have a guess at what internal component could of went faulty? I mean it worked for 3 months or so.

Whatever that is looks burnt. Any insight or guidance would be appreciated lol.
