I would say 2ohm.....gives u 2ohm for daily than bump it down to .5ohm for comp and/or what not....again thats just me

For daily id go around 6cu@ 32hz....mine seemed to love 3.5cu@ 32hz....any higher and it would drop off in db....but lower it got nastyyyyy on the low....loved it

It really depends on sound quality.. correct me if i'm wrong but the more ohms you have the better control the amp has over the coil of the speaker. I personally have 2 type R 10inch dualVC both 4ohm versions.

I think I understand what your trying to say but believe you phrased it wrong. If you run a amp at a higher impedence then your likely to get less distortion but with bass, you wouldn't be able to hear the difference. Different ohms are simply different wiring options to suit different amps, not much to do with SQ.
