I drive a 2005 chevy single cab and I'm upgrading my frontstage and don't know were to put my tweeters. I'm putting my mid in the door so I figure the tweeter is going to have to be mounted in the door panel. so I'm trying to find a good starting place because this is my first set of good door speaker as well as my first active set up.

If it help ill take pics and the equ. Is id oem mids ctd tw25s tweeters

Wire them up, and tape them to different areas. See what sounds best to you and provides for the best imaging.

Most people put them in the sail pillars or A-pillars.

Thanks for the help I plan on trying different locations I wash just wanting to get and idea of were to start. I want to put it in the door panel because that is the only place I can install them and it look right. I'm thinking about attempting pod but I hear they don't work as well in trucks. Also I've never fiberglassed so I might be biting off more than I can chew.

I will take some pics and try to uppload them so you all can get an idea of what I'm working with.

no it is not alway the best location for tweeters but it's a start to raise your stage height

i would like to put the tweeters in he triangles above the door panel but the driver side is kinda blocked so i was thinking any of the flat surfaces in the panel.

thanks for he help id be lost without it
