Pitbull Owners

my 61 year old father and i was fixing some windows for npdodge,we walk in the back yard to look over everything,a 115 lb pitt from next door jumps the 2ft chicken wire and attacks my dad, with no warning.

95% of them is how they are raised the other 5% is just in them. Trust me I know I've had about 50 pits throughout my life.. They defintely have a bad rap like when a dog attacks someone in the news they always say its a pit even thought it a focking mutt. I have a 10 year old pit who loves puppies and most dogs but HATES people which makes for a great guard dog lol.

There is no such thing as a 115lb pit barnone.. If it is 115lbs its probably mix with maybe american bulldog, Preso canario, Cane corso or another big dog that looks like a pit,

Pitbulls are terriers, very large terriers. They were originally ratting dogs. ALL terriors have a predisposition to being agressive, just they got a bad name because of their size and stupid people. They can and are great dogs. Just keep in mind that in Washington state the number one biter is Border Colies but you never hear a word about them...

Shit you focking hit the nail on the head right there...

most the pitts around my neighborhood are really good dogs and theres actually one right down the street that is great with kids, he pretty much sits in the yard and watches them play, like hes protecting them. Im thinking about getting one when I get out of school

how they are raised, awsome dogs
^^^ Exactly..

If their mean they were raised that way and any dog raised that way will end up mean. Whether it's a pitt, a rott, a poodle, a beagle, or one of those dogs that look like a sausage. My current dog's a pitt, we had her for 10 yrs so far and never had a problem with her. She's good around people, kids, and other dogs. I had a male and a female pitt when I was with one of my ex's and we never had a problem with either one of those either. They like to be close to you, and if they feel like they did something wrong, they put their head down and try to make it up to you. Their very loyal and affectionate dogs. When my dog is on the chain she seems a little protective, she wants to go check you out smell you and stuff. If you talk to her and pet her she's fine. If you act shady, or make an action like you're gonna hit me or or run at me ( Like your intentions are to hurt me) she's all over it and tryen to get at you.

i have one right behind me,dogs great, doesnt bark alot, doesnt bother my kids when they are playing in the back yard, but he has good sorrounding's,now were this pit bit my dad, think its a junk yard, crap all over the yard, car parts, back yard was a mess.

the owner came over and pulled the dog off, went straight inside with the dog and didnt come back out,he gave 2 different names to the cops
