I've been converting the past 4-5 years worth of CD's I have to FLAC and shit it's a pain in the ass. I'm on ~280th CD and I timed the last one at 1:45 to rip. That's close to 9hr if you don't have to tag/rename tracks etc.....which you do. I've been doing this for days, and I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore.

That's dedication kids. If you REALLY love music, you'll happily spend 9 hours listening to music while you archive your crap.

...that being said. I'm already too old for this and I am thinking I need to hire a gang of 6yr olds in China to do this for me from now on. What would that cost? 25cents a CD? I could just steal everything too like the old days, but I need hard copies for when the CYBERnetic overloards take over the world.

1. Yes analog ripping died to me with tape.

2. I did a lot of testing and gave up on EAC. way too slow and the software I'm using has enough options to correct jitter and crap like that. Like I said, I want my hard copies. EAC would make more sense if I sold these disks after the rip.

Im still converting my old tapes to CD's. Once that's completed some time in late 2013, I'll start converting the CD's to wav.
