Pioneer P1 deck??

OKay my girlfriend wants a system in her car and I was like oh no lol im gonna kill ur account.....but her friend that I went to school with is selling his setup

2-10s in sealed box

2-amps 1 4 channel and one sub amp

She doesnt need anything top end or crazy since she has a sunfire and she doesnt wanna kill the car so i think this setup is enough for her.

500cdn but he said he would sell cheaper bc he needs cash i think

I told him to write down the model #'s for me so i could check it all out but he said to just go look at it. I am goin tomorrow to check it out...I helped him install it 3 years ago and im not sure if any is new or not.

Q............I tried finding some info in this deck and I know it is a ampless deck and pritty high end...Now she doesnt need this for her car should I pick this deck up for cheap and just sell the brand new one im getting for xmas? or possibly buy it then sell it for more bc I read that these things go for 300us??? What is soo crazy about them?

Is that the Pioneer P1R?? If so, that's a very nice deck. At the time it was one of very few with advanced internal sound processing, such as an advanced crossover, equalization, time alignment, etc etc.
