pioneer ipod adapter problems

ok so i just bought a pioneer DEH-4800MP and the ipod adapter cd-1b100 2 and got it all hooked up ect... Hooked up the cd player worked fine with all speakers and so did the radio. i hooked up my ipod the cd player recognized it played but now sound at all not even any buzzing noise any one else have this problem or now how to fix it?

what gen ipod? also do you have the cables plug in the right places..

30 gig video and it only has 3 cables hot wire ground and the ip-bus cable and they seem fine

I'm having the same problem on my 880prs.

Displaying ipod and looks like it's playing but no sound.

and CD's and radio play sound...

I'm going to BB now to swap the cb100 to see if that's the culprit.

check your connections, especially ground, make sure the cable provided with the ipod adapter is plugged in so that the blue end is in the deck, and the black end is in the black slot on the adapter box
