Pioneer Head Unit

I just picked up a Pioneer radio headunit for the mini. I can play music through the bluetooth and the mic also seems to be working. But I cannot hear any audio during phone calls. There was a non bluetooth pioneer unit there before. The mic itself seems be working as I can record memos through the bluetooth, which like mp3's will also playback.

Also, it's a Pioneer MVH S410 BT unit 

Would anyone have any advice on fixing this?
