Any help thoughts and or solutions.. Why when I use my USB stick and I crank the volume the head unit reads format error and stops and starts the song but when. Played at normal to low volume there's no problems at all will play for hrs I tried a Kingston stick and a cheapy stick both do the same ...

Yeah that was my first thought it was getting vibrantions its a rear connect with a extension ran to the front

tried holding it then mounting it still does it but maybe it may be bad connection in the back of the hu where its plugged in.

Very possible that the rear output(s) could be the problem. I'd check to make sure the usb lead isn't sliced anywhere, then switch usb slots and see what happens.

Also make sure that the usb lead has some slack back there.
