Gonna simplify a bit, going back passive and the minimal T/A on the Pioneer DD's (sonic center control) was good enough for me to get a decent stage. Figured I'd might as well let an active user get this beast and I can get my double din back. I miss having my DVD capabilities up front.

Its an AMAZING deck though and anyone into SQ and wanting to run active should definitely look into it.

i agree,i have my dd pioneer going into my 4 runner tomorrow ,i was gonna use the 80prs but decided not to since the new system will have at least 8k of sub power and the dvd units work better for the bigger powered systems.i love the anti skip mechanisms on these decks

They are definitely works of art. If my car was setup for a single din, this would stay, no questions asked.

yea my 4 runner can go either way ,good thing i have a kenwood single din dvd with navi too,just in case

i;m using the same set up i had before ,but i'll be changing the bass amp to american bass,either a 1100.1 or a 750.1.just waiting on money from the sale of my dc 7.5

few locals are running 1100.1s....strong amps for sure. If I was into crazy loud, I might run one

you use flash drives or ipod?

I have the iPod adapter I could include with it but it needs another IP Bus Cable. I use this: The iSimple MediaWire IS76 - RCA Audio/Video Connector - iPod, iPhone, iPad

it plays just as good as CDs and charges the ipod.
