Quite a few have the option.

My 880prs does.

If this deck has it, turn the deck off with the multicontrol- the option would be in the same menus as setting the clock, face auto open, everscroll, etc.

of course, you could always just read your owners manual.

Yes, alot of newer decks have this feature now. It is sort of the newest fad in in dash cd players with internal amps.

Ok, now its all comming together. Yes some head units have the ability to turn off the internal amp so only the preout section is functioning. This however is not an option on the pioneer 7700mp. To the original poster of the question, here is an easy thing for you to try. Look at the amp and unplug the RCA's. Do the speakers quite working, if they do then the amp is hooked up to the speakers and working, so plug the RCA's back in and Enjoy. If you unplug them and nothing changes, then you got ripped off and back to the shop you go to confront them

i just didnt know what to look for...its not labeled..how to turn off internal amp...i dont know the technical term used to do the action

It will be fine, just don't let the conductors touch metal.

ok cool..its the next morning..i did take out the RCA's just the rear..and there was no sound from the rear doors....then i put them back in and took out the front RCA's and there was no sound from the front doors or the dashes..so thats good news..meaning that all my 6 speakers are hooked up to my 4 channel....dashes bridged with front doors to 2 ohms.. and rear doors to rear channel to 4 ohms...fronts are a little louder than rear thus because its wired to 2 ohm with double the power...no problems with the wires touching metal...now i can rest easy knowing that i did not get jipped with 4 channel installation...wont need to do this again...well thats the end of this thread..i got all my questions answered..hope this helps someone else with similiar problem..thanks guys
