Pioneer deh-p6700mp dimmer?

i got my new pioneer put in. everything is workin fine now. except for the dimmer. every 2 minutes or so the screen will get bright for about 5-10 seconds and then go dim. it is really annoying. does anyone know what might cause this?

Is it the reverse mode your talking about? If so just turn the radio off and wait for it to go into the demo mode and hit the number 5 key and it will turn the reverse mode off.

yeah it's the reverse mode, not the dimmer

first turn off you radio by holding down the button labled SRC for about 3 sec. until you hear a beep the radio will turn off. now hold down the preset button #5 for about 3 sec again, until you hear the beep its off. now just hit the button SRC again and your back all none.

there is another way to do it also. by going to a menu.

there you can adjust the clock, aux on or off, demo modo on or off, reverse mode on or off, dimmer on or off, Display Brightness, Warning Tone on or off.....

just by turning off the radio and holding down the button FUNCTION until it beeps
