Pioneer DEH-7800 display problem

I already emailed pics off to Crutchfield tech support to see what they say. I just installed this head unit in my truck (new from Crutchfield). Functionally it works fine but it does the display is acting funky. I will look normal for a few seconds and then it will give a reverse image for a minute or two then it will go back to normal. I'm betting that I'm going to have to send it in for a replacement. Anyone else seen this problem?

Ok, I found it. It is a setting called "Reverse Mode" which can be turned off. The manual doesn't give a decent description of what it is so I just started changing settings until it went away.
