Pioneer DEH-7700MP 2005 is it ipod ready?

I was wondering if the 7700MP is ipod ready?? i know i need the IB100ii..thing from pioneer to make it all work and the cradle...but pioneers website says it ipod ready but my manual says nothing about it...and how does the IB100ii plug into my headunit?? just need to know how it all works before i get it all....thanks

what if i got the IB100II...would it still work??...i wanted the headunit to have full control of the ipod...so i guess i should go with the IB100I...cause i read that the IB100II you lose some control and such...i am just wondering how it all works...going through folders on the HU..oh well...thanks
