Pioneer DEH-690UB USB flash drive mem. stick?

Anyone know if you can use a USB Flash drive memory stick with a Pioneer Premier DEH-690UB? I looked at ipods and mp3 players but they're outta my range price wise. I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way to get some music from my computer to the deck without burnen a ton of cd's. It has the usb ports, it says you can use an external hard drive to store music, then use it through the usb ports. Just not sure if the USB flash drive mem. stick would basically be the same thing or not. When it comes to computer tech i'm not too sure on stuff.

Sure, but I'd probably go with a name brand USB drive. Lexar, Sandisk, Corsair, etc.

I have this head unit I have a 4 gig thumbdrive I use and it works fine put the music into folders that way its easy to navigate instead of just throwing songs on it and my 120 gig hard drive doesn't work with it

I'm guessen they are. I don't know if their rewriteable though. I'm looken for somethen half decent and cheap that i can put my music on and toss in the glovebox or plug in and leave it there. Not sure if their rewritable to change out music or not though.

Yup any flash drive

My buddy even had some cheap chinese mp3 player with a screen and a USB port, we hooked it up to my 690 and it worked, to my surprise
