Ok, i am curious. When setting gains with this headunit, do you need to have the bass level (NOT bass boost) all the way to +6? Cause i just did a test with just upping the bass level and it definately increased bass. I set gains originall with it at level 0. Does the subwoofer level control the preout voltage? Can someone help me out? I know on Alpine headunits you need to set the sublevel to +15 or w/e when setting gain. So what about pioneer?

Thanks

I set mine @ 0, and EQ flat.
mines usually set to -2 or -1 depending on the time of day and what not but i have the eq set custom. the only thing on 6 on the eq is 800 hz and im pretty sure i turned it down to 5 yesterday. anyway you usually never need any settings cranked all the way up if your doing things correctly.
