Pioneer DEH-3700mp no LR output

I installed about a year ago and today the left rear output on head unit stoped working. I tested by pulling from dash and hooked known good speaker to LR output. If I ground speaker wire to car ground and attach other speaker wire to the negitive output wire I get some sound. But from positive wire I get nothing.

1) Is this a common problem?

2) Something I can fix?

3) Must take to electronics repair shop?

4) Head unit is junk?
