Pioneer avh-x8500bhs help

I just installed a pioneer avh-x8500bhs in my car and I used a 12v relay to bypass the ebrake,well when I turn my car to ignition you can hear the relay turn on but the screen still has the warning on it and the you can hear the audio,when you turn the unit off and turn it back on you can see video and it work fine,almost like the relay is turning on to fast or something.....anybody can help me out would be greatly appreciated.

Relay method does not work on the new Pioneers. They require a double pulse. Use a PAC TR7 set to Alpine and hook up per instructions (minus the foot brake connection and Pioneer does not require foot break),

Bobfig,what kind of connectors did you use to connect the bypass? I seen not to use scotch type? I was planning on using butt connectors.

i soldered all my connections.

Just take that green wire put it on a toggle switch and ground the switch. Cheap and works

This is how I do all the avh pioneers I've had and it works on my 8500

You don't have to run 12 volt to the toggle switch it works off ground

Cops pull you over hit the switch your good

Not sure if you can do that with the bypass thingy
