Pioneer AVH-x2700BS in RV not playing

Radio comes on for 15 - 20 seconds with audio then stations being to clip on and off for 30 seconds or so then audio and stations go off and stay off. CD player, bluetooth, all 3 cameras work fine. RV has new chassis and coach batteries. Can someone get me started on a trouble shooting path? Do I need to remove unit and check all connections, fuses, ground etc or is there a different path I should try first?
