pioneer avh p2400bt or clarion vx401

I'm in between on these two decks and i can't decide. What do you guys think? and also will a double din deck fit in a 2007 silverado 2500 classic without any major modifications?

it might fit.i do know the clarion is 2 volt pre outs ,not sure about the pioneer,if both are 2 volt i'd still go with the bigger screen

It is funny you asked this because I had the same dilemn on theses models.

After reviewing them both, I decided to buy Pioneer avh-p2400bt.

Here is why:

Front usb port.

Clarion manual says you can't use back usb port to load movies.

Clarion interface is basic, less customizable, but looks easier to use.

Pioneer has avrcp 1.3 on this model.

However, the Clarion has a bigger screen.

To me, theses two models are good.

To see if it fits your truck, I suggest you to visit crutchfield.com, check for both radios and use the option "outfit my car".
